We provide the tools and time to learn, make mistakes, and the room to grow with us!Our Customer Service Manager will prioritize Customer Service and Innovation over all else, but those initiatives will be meshed with goals in Safety, Customer Quality, Delivery, and Costing Metrics. This high-level position is a critical link to the continued success and growth of the company. We are looking for a seasoned Customer Service Manager with 10 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Reporting directly to the COO, this highly visible position will require someone with a proven track record and understanding in Customer Service, Supply Chain Operations, and general Production Operations.Desired Experience· Must be willing to be a hands-on team-oriented leader that focuses on the Customer and their experience while training and motivating a staff of Customer Service Agents to carry out daily best practice initiatives to ensure top notch levels of service.· 10+ years of solid Management skills with the bulk of the time in Customer Service, while also having exposure to Supply Chain and Production Operations within a manufacturing environment is required.· Work to ensure your team is integrated and on point with the whole manufacturing team to create an environment where safety is a top focus and always in the forefront of everyone’s daily activities.· From a quality perspective, you will take ownership of customers’ issues and problems through to resolution. You will gain a thorough understanding of the products and company inventory to ensure a greater understanding of what quality means to our customers and how to fix quality issues once the customer is involved.· Focus on delivery will be driven on two fronts. The first focus will be to ensure the dates in the system are accurate so that internally we are ordering, building, and shipping on time to maintain our efficiency goals. The second focus will be to interact with the customer to ensure we are maintaining delivery schedules according to their timelines based on their needs.· Manage department costs by understanding workloads, capacity timing, customer service back logs, and fostering an environment that promotes product knowledge. Product knowledge is a very strong component to ensure quick and effective resolution of customer issues.· A strong understanding and working knowledge of MRP, ERP, and Inventory systems are also required.
