Job Description : Hackensack Meridian Health Redbank Nursing home of rehab is seeking a Director for our Environmental Services Department This is a full-time, day position (40hours/week). The Director of Environmental Services (EVS) is responsible for the planning, organization, development and direction for the EVS department. Requirements/Qualifications:All department functions and operations must be managed and achieved in accordance with all federal, NJ standards and guidelines and all other applicable regulatory standards to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained at all times.Leads EVS in fulfilling all departmental goals and objectives within budget, with quality of schedule.Performs regular inspections of patient, public and private areas. * Actively partners with various key management staff to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.Develops and maintains written policies and procedures for EVS as well as standardized cleaning schedules for all assigned areas.Seeks out new methods and principles to improve EVS functions.Works closely with Nursing and Bed Management to promptly respond to room request.Coordinates repair needs with Facilities Management and other appropriate departments.Directs the responsible care use of supplies, equipment, facilities, etc., and maintains or improves the appearance of all patient, public and private areas.Coordinates EVS activities with all other hospital departments.Assures all EVS staff follows established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies at all times.
