A full job description is available during the interview process.To lead the maintenance and housekeeping staff to provide safe and attractive living environment for the Residents. Also responsible for ensuring life safety standards are trained and met across the campus.Compensation: Salaried and exempt from overtime pay. Performance compensation bonus will be computed at 20% of regular earnings upon eligibility.Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: · Provide complete direction, operational control, and supervision of the maintenance and housekeeping departments in the most efficient manner possible for designated buildings and community.· Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and supervising the maintenance department. Completing and maintaining all related employee paperwork in accordance with company policy.· Direct oversight of the Housekeeping Department.· Hire, direct, develop and collaborate with Housekeeping Manager. Initiate or participate in all department terminations in accordance with company policy and guidelines.· Communicate and promote professional interactions within the community with residents, guests and other staff. Promotes a safe work environment and a spirit of superior customer service in all activities and functions, setting an example for all employees to follow. Respects and promotes resident rights at all times.· Leads the Safety Committee and Life Safety Program to include emergency preparedness audits and surveys to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment in compliance with company, state, federal, OSHA, building and health department laws and regulations.· Develop and maintain strong inter-departmental working relationships and open communications with all community departments and other company locations. Work with other company maintenance leaders to develop best practices for any Sun Health location.· Inspect and prepare residences for move-in ready status as per company policy before new residents move into the Community.· Establish a workable budget and maintain strict control of expenditures to remain within the budget throughout the year.· Establish and maintain a good working relationship with outside vendors.
