Job Description : Seeking a leader, systems, and team builder for a fast-growing, multi-market multifamily and single family housing owner/manager. Working closely with senior leadership and functional leads, you will have the opportunity to build a team and platform without legacy issues or biases. This is a position that starts with posting marketing on existing inventory, then refining systems while building the leasing team and KPI tracking.Our Company Brick and Vine is a multifamily and single family investment and property management firm actively acquiring and managing workforce housing properties in multiple markets throughout the United States. We are a tech focused, socially conscious team backed by a $3bn AUM Bay Area investment manager and led by veterans of multiple industries including single family rentals, venture backed fintech startups, private equity and institutional fixed income investment. People are our ultimate asset, and we are looking for those who are technically savvy, exceptional in their area of expertise, and seeking an opportunity to build, not just contribute to, an organization.Responsibilities: The ideal individual for this role would align well with the below set of objectives:Oversee all Brick and Vine leasing activities. Become the subject matter expert of leasing activities by leveraging sales knowledge to enhance operations, implementing initiatives, driving monthly goals and occupancy results, communicating important updates on leasing activities and advising internal partners regarding practices and policies.Partner with business leaders across Brick and Vine to understand current leasing model, platform and metrics. Assess organizational strengths, capabilities and gaps to determine areas of process improvements. Report updates to relevant stakeholders and recommend solutions to enhance operations.Conduct regular leasing meetings to drive performance and accountability with the leasing team.Establish key performance indicators, in conjunction with the Head of Acquisitions for each market to measure leasing operations.Manage and direct activities within Brick and Vine leasing platforms such as Yardi Voyager, Rent Café and Rently. Lead all platform updates and initiatives in collaboration with systems administration resources. Manage external solution vendors on an as needed basis.Train, develop, manage and evaluate direct reports to achieve departmental and company goals. Coach and mentor direct and indirect reports to achieve leasing targets.Scan external markets continuously to identify emerging leasing practices, trends and technologies. Evaluate and recommend practices that will optimize leasing operations.Complete special projects as assigned by the VP of Property Management.This summary is not an all-inclusive description of job duties.
