Job Description : JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Operations will lead and provide insight to employees and provide training to ensure the operations and production of the company run smoothly. You will implement company procedures, along with generating new ideas and procedures that will help with increasing productivity while maintaining installed revenue goals.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Creating long-term plan and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently· Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross training efforts· Communicate any problems or obstacles to fellow senior management· Analyzing budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profitsResponsible for overall job profit marginsStrive to reduce expenses and increase productivityo Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product and safety or integrity· Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated· Oversee entire production department and processIncrease total monthly installed revenueEnsure the production team is collecting progress and final paymentsProblem resolution with customersMaintain ongoing training to current installers to enhance speed and efficiencyHold weekly production meetings with entire teamPlanning and organizing production schedulesManaging company CRM in relation to production and serviceo Determine quality control standardso Assessing project and resource requirementso Hire and manage sub-contractorsAssessing project and resource requirementsVerify the correct installation method and ensure those are being utilized in the field· Build positive relationships with customers and employeesEnsure customer satisfactionHire and manage employeesDetermining quality control standardsConducting interviews with prospective candidatesSupport current team with any issues and provide trainingo Problem resolution with customers and employeeso Provide motivation and guidance to the teamOperate company vehicle safely and professionallySales, canvass, and event support· Time management on all aspects· Assist with creating reports to track progress· Assist in analyzing data to find area for growth· Familiarize yourself with the job and the installation process· Time management awareness on all aspects· Ensure customer satisfaction· Attend and lead weekly production meetings· Recruit new service, installation, and office staff as needed.· Recruit new subcontractors as needed.· Additional duties and responsibilities to be assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal staff, and company leadership.Teach and maintain new technologies· Ability to operate a computer with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel· Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record· Ability to lead teams and build company culture.· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationStrong commitment to time management.Dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments.· Positive interaction with fellow crew members and customers· Strong customer service skills· Strong sense of accountabilityQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation / Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is requiredStrong customer services skills requiredBachelor or master’s degree in business development and or construction development is a plus.Proficient with computers, Microsoft office suite and CRM systemsStrong understanding of PPE procedures, equipment, and techniquesGeneral Proficiencies Understands and adheres to Lifetime Windows and Doors policies and proceduresWilling to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when neededExcellent work ethic, professionalism, strong interpersonal and customer service skillsWorks well in a team setting. Ability to adapt to department needs and supports all department and organizational goalsSelf-motivated with excellent organization and planning abilitiesAbove average oral and written communication skills with ability to maintain strong documentationBenefits: · Company’s Benefit Package: Two-weeks paid vacation and 20 hours’ sick PTO for a total of 100 hours (earned on an accrual basis) and paid holidays.· Company medical contribution (50%) available on the first of the next month after 60 days of employment with Cigna through our company’s employee benefit plan for the employee only.
