We want our guests to relax and enjoy their time aboard the trolley while hearing the stories of Anchorage and we want our drivers to have a good time guiding them. If so, we are hiring promptly, with limited openings available, and encourage you to apply.Pay $20 (Hourly) + Outstanding Tips and additional shift opportunities.Type Full-Time (Seasonal)RequirementsPossession of a current Class C commercial driver’s license with a Passenger endorsement, and pass all accompanying drug tests.Can comfortably operate a trolley with 30 passengers while narrating a 50-55min tour.Dependable/honest work ethicDriver Guide/Tour Guide RoleYou will be expected to work 5-6 shifts each week, with weekend availability. You will occasionally be expected to pick up additional shifts when needed. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:Successfully fill out the daily inspections, making sure the vehicle is in working order and reporting any problems to management.Greet guests and aid with the loading/unloading of passengers.Drive and narrate 6-8 tours each shift.Clearly and articulately provide information to guests in an engaging manner.Answer any questions that the guests may have.Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Anchorage, Alaska and related topics.Remain professional, friendly, calm, and enthusiastic at all times.Keep the tour moving on schedule in order to arrive back in a timely manner.Adhere to and know all safety and security protocols.Assist the ticket ambassadors as needed.Wash the inside and outside of the vehicle so that it is ready for the next shift.Have FUN!Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysOvertimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Commission payTipsAbility to commute/relocate:Anchorage, AK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:Alaska CDL (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
