Job Description : Transportation company Kavkaz Express is looking for an experienced Hiring Coordinator with a transportation background to join our team.Job responsibilities: Follow USDOT and FMCSA standardsFollow the hiring protocol established by the company managementRun required background checks for new applicantsCreate complete DQ files and records in the company databasesPrepare packages for new drivers with the required paperwork, ELD device, dash cam etc.Add applicable deductions for the hiring expenses, such as pre-employment drug tests, mailing of the new package to the drivers etc.Other duties as assignedEducation, Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree is preferredExperience working in the trucking industry in the USKnowledge of US DOT and FMCSA standards6 + months of experience in preparing Driver Qualification files (DQ-files) in accordance with 49 CFRPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerTalking, hearing, and lifting up to 15 poundsJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Hackensack, NJ 07601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Transportation industry: 1 year (Required)preparing Driver Qualification files (DQ-files): 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
