Job Description : Our growing company is seeking to hire an IT Project Coordinator who will be in charge of assisting our Project Managers in organizing our ongoing IT projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.To be successful as an IT Project Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and have exceptional verbal, and written communications skills. An Associate degree in a related field of study and at least three (3) years of relevant experience in an IT project environment is required for consideration.IT PROJECT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: · Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.· Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.· Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.· Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.· Ensuring project deadlines are met and prepare weekly project status report· Determining project changes and follow change management process· Providing administrative support as needed.· Undertaking project tasks as required.· Create, Update and Coordinate Vendor activities as required.· Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.· Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.· Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.· Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.· Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.· Tracks the receipt and processing of project data and new service requests; reviews key data after receipt for completeness and consistency; enters data into information management or data collection system; ensures accuracy of all data entered.· Coordinates travel arrangements; completes expense reports and processes invoices; ensures that correct account codes are used and required signatures obtained.· Coordinates appropriate financial management and invoicing for projects.· Coordinates internal and external project meetings including but not limited to preparing and distributing agendas and other meeting materials, preparing slides and/or transparencies for meeting presentations, reserving and preparing facilities, and recording and transcribing meeting minutes.· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.IT PROJECT COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS: · Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience in IT project environment.· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.· Strong organizational, problem-solving, detailed oriented and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.· Background working with Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Channels a plus.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
