SUMMARY
The Learning Delivery Specialist (LDS)is responsible to deliver system learning initiatives that support ministry objectives.The LDS is the SME in facilitating an effective end-user experience by following recognized best practices in VILT and ILT.Key accountabilities include course communication & follow-up, facilitation, project management and coordination of educational activities to support a successful learning initiative launch.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for delivering a best in class learning experience on ministry platforms such as Zoom and other learning technologies identified for virtual learning delivery.
Partner with the Program Manager, Virtual Coaching and Delivery to identify best practices and an individual development plan to continually upskill and deliver virtual learning at the highest possible level to create an engaging and effective learning experience.
Follows standard processes and procedures to prepare for and deliver learning curriculum in both VILT and ILT formats.
Delivers pre/mid/post session communication to learner, and possibly their leader, for respective courses, to enhance the learners experience and support the transfer of knowledge.
Follows standard processes in reviewing and providing feedback on existing programs and recommending appropriate changes to the design team and/or Program Manager, Core Curriculum. (Learning Design & Content). Provides ideas for group discussion, demonstrations & workshops.
Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training content on employees during onboarding period and for career development
In partnership with Design, ensure virtual meetings rooms are created and maintained in Zoom & other learning technology to align with course design
Conducts various training sessions covering required learning programs as well as specialized programs and refresher training. May also facilitate a variety of meetings and events
Will facilitate social learning opportunities utilizing MS Teams and other ministry collaborative platforms.
Collaborates as needed with Learning Coordinators to confirm all administrative aspects of course creation, access and attendance have been completed in Workday.
Acts as a SME to the learner related to all available learning assets/resources such as additional VILT courses, eLearning in WD, toolkit content, infographics, job aids, relevant external learning resources (articles, Ted Talks, etc.) and other ministry resources to support the learners growth and development.
Acts as a learner advocate to communicate the learners perspective and experience to all members of the Culture and Learning Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Required – 4 year/ Bachelors Degree
Specialty/Major – Communication, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Psychology
Preferred – 4 year/ Bachelors Degree
Specialty/Major – Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Psychology
Experience:
Minimum 3 5 years experience in learning, education, human resources or related field.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, highly organized, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, effective prioritizing and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proven ability on office computer systems, including Internet, email and database systems. Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Preferred:
5 or more years experience with virtual classroom environments & software, eLearning and virtual technology (e.g., presenting & sharing data and applications, whiteboards, audio & video support, breakout sessions, recording, etc.).
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work at home with occasional travel to our Bond Hill Corporate office (Cincinnati, OH).
Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel.
General office environment.
May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids.*

May have periods of constant interruptions.
Prolonged periods of working alone.
Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
