Role with the Company:
Manage business processes and resources for Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements, and company credit cards for a multiple-entity organization.
Accounts Payable
Manage Accounts Payable team and processes including new vendors, supplier maintenance, general ledger coding of vendor invoices, purchase order matching, check and wire payments, annual 1099 reporting, expense reports, company credit card administration, and compliance with sales/use tax regulations.
Perform and supervise month-end close processes within AP.
Collaborate with Treasury for accurate and timely payments to vendors.
Financial Reporting
Coordinate with AP team, vendors, and cross-functional departments to ensure a timely and accurate cut-off of AP and related accruals for month-end financial close.
Perform monthly account reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts, including Accounts Payable and purchase order accrual, and calculate journal entries for posting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance; Master’s degree preferred
CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
5+ years’ work experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax including ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and sales tax regulations
Working knowledge of an ERP system through hands-on experience and/or working with clients in public accounting
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, index/match, etc.)
BIG PLUS: Experience with Oracle modules (General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing), SAP Concur, or Incorta business intelligence tool
Candidate with ORACLE experience can be 100% REMOTE from a Texas location to allow occasional visits to company HQ.
Candidate without ORACLE experience will work in office at company HQ.
