Job Description : What We Are Looking For
The Medical Records Administrator in the Health Center supports the mission of Baylor University by maintaining day-to-day administrative operations of the department. This position will be critical in establishing and maintaining relationships with partnering departments across the university.
A high school diploma, three years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required. An Associate’s degree and five years of relevant experience is preferred.
*Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
What You Will Do
Process all health forms, reviewing health forms for complete or incomplete status
Enter data in medical software and student software
Process medical records requests and medical records release forms
Scan all documents into medical software
Enter immunization dates from health form to medical software
Monitor Health Services email inbox
Answer phones and serve as back up to the front desk
Promote professional environment with excellent customer service
Perform range of administrative functions to different departments within Student Life as needed
Observe all confidentiality guidelines
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with university policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
