We offer exciting career opportunities for talented and ambitious job seekers and encourage you to apply today.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Accurately and efficiently read residential and commercial gas metersManually input meter readings in a handheld computer deviceWork outdoors extensively in all types of weather and walk for long distancesHandle customer inquiries and perform collection workIdentify and report meter irregularities and report safety hazardsWork in potentially hazardous environments such as dark basements, roof tops or industrial facilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordMust have a high school diploma or equivalentThe ability to drive a small company truck or vanBasic literacy is required. Have the ability to read, accurately interpret and analyze written information, and legibly prepare written documentationAvailable to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.Have access to a vehicle for work usePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:The ideal candidate should be self-motivatedPossess excellent customer service skillsProven track record of good attendance and committed to work place safetyGood communication and computer/data entry skillsPlumbing and heating experienceABOUT NATIONAL FUEL:National Fuel is a diversified energy company headquartered near Buffalo, NY.
