Job Description : Job Title: Risk Analyst (Associate), Non-Financial Risk Management – Third Party Risk Management
Location: Mumbai
Brief about Business
The Risk division is responsible throughout the Group for management and control of all credit, market and operational risks, and the function of the Risk division consists of managing, reinforcing and protecting the Bank’s capital, integrity and reputation by making a solid structure and supportive infrastructure available.
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) comprises of a Cross Risk Process and Risk Type Controller team within the Global NFRM portfolio and is designed to assist all DB businesses and infrastructure units to identify, assess, mitigate, and track risks associated with DB’s portfolio of internal and external service providers.
This role will support and be a part of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team in Asia Pacific (APAC) to enable effective implementation of the framework in the region and monitor related risks. It will work closely with the regional Team Lead to provide strong governance and monitoring of Third-party risks in the region and report / monitor risks in various governance fora in APAC. It will contribute to the enhancement and roll-out of the risk management framework and 2LoD processes. This role will also engage actively with stakeholders in the business divisions and infrastructure functions (1LoD) in their management of Third-party risks.

Your key responsibilities
Support Risk and Control Assessments, Lessons learned reviews, and Read across performed in relation with the risk type. Prepare and maintain risk profiles and MIS reports to measure and monitor the risks and report them effectively to Management.
Review and challenge the design and operating effectiveness of controls implemented by the first line of defense for the risk type.
Perform deep-dives and detailed data analysis to support effective risk management activities in the region.
Track regulatory developments in the space of Third-Party Risk Management in the region, do a gap analysis against them, and support policy and process enhancements in the framework to meet the requirements.
Actively engage with stakeholders across the region to assist and advise on matters related to the risk type.
Prepare for and, where required, attend country and regional risk councils related to the risk type.
Provide support in regulatory and audit engagements and prepare inputs and responses for the purpose of such engagements.
Your skills and experience
Postgraduate or Graduate degree preferably in Finance, or Business Administration
More than 5 years of work experience, preferably in Third Party Risk Management or Non-Financial (Operational) Risk Management in a financial institution or in a large organization in a regulated industry. Or experience in an audit function with coverage of these areas
Strong understanding of the principles and concepts of Third Part / Non-Financial Risk Management
Good knowledge and understanding of regulations related to Outsourcing Risk Management in Asia Pacific
Prior experience in use of industry standard GRC tools will be advantageous
Competencies:
Willingness to learn and acquire deep subject-matter knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management
Ability to handle complex and varied datasets and analyse them for information with the help of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau
Knowledge and skills in basic programming (VBA, Python, R etc.) will be an added advantage
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly (verbal and written), and articulate risks in an understandable manner
Attention to detail and willingness and ability to take ownership and responsibility
