HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Office Manager oversees financial and administrative needs of CPC; handles a wide variety of complex administrative details. This position reports to the CEO & President of CPC.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ensure efficient office operations, including but not limited to, overseeing financial operations, scheduling, coordinating CPC activities and providing a high level of administrative support to the CPC team.
Compiles and reviews monthly financial reports from third party accounting firm for National Office, and quarterly financial reports for Board of Trustees, and financial reports for funding agencies.
Implement departmental policies and procedures for office management.
Coordinate ordering, purchases, and corresponding documentation for ordering and policy oversight.
Maintain specialized databases relevant to department essential functions.
Perform program assistance and specialized departmental assignments as required.
Coordinate special projects for the Department.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Center for Plant Conservation (CPC) seeks an Office Manager to provide vital support for our small and rapidly growing organization. The Office Manager provides administrative support while handling a wide variety of complex administrative details and typically runs the office by coordinating, preparing, and monitoring financials. The Office Manager is a point of contact with the public. We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, finance reporting, and procurement experience.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Must have at least 2 years of experience in high level administrative support.
Previous experience in related industry preferred.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must have a high level of effective organizational skills.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to operate moderately complex computer software programs.
Must have basic mathematical ability to read and prepare financial reports.
Able to handle complex situations with a high level of tact and diplomacy.
Ability to maintain accuracy and organization of vital records.
