Job Description : COPPERA specializes in commercial plumbing. Our niche work is remodels and service and perform some new construction. The target market is, public schools, state agencies, military and some private work.We are looking for a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations. The operations manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business.You will be responsible for the operations in Austin, San Antonio and San Angelo locations. These locations have operating managers to oversee the day to day operations of their locations.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective wayImprove operational management systems, processes and best practicesPurchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiencyHelp the organization’s processes remain legally compliantFormulate strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data and use them to improve profitabilityManage budgets and forecastsPerform quality controls and monitor production KPIsRecruit, train and supervise staffFind ways to increase quality of customer serviceSkillsConstruction experience, specifically in the plumbing fieldProven work experience as operations manager or similar roleKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementExperience budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with business and financial principlesExcellent communication skillsLeadership abilityOutstanding organisational skillsDegree in Business, Operations Management or related fieldJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $95,000.00 – $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Commission payCOVID-19 considerations:No additional precautionsWork Location: One location
