When you need to see a provider quickly, MedRite Urgent Care is here for you.Job DescriptionThe Patient Relations Specialist will serve our patients by providing support to the Patient Experience department. In this position, the individual is responsible for assisting with patient relations and engagement needs. In addition, the Patient Relations Specialist will guide staff in gaining awareness of patients’ perception of the brand, while serving as a support hub and advocate for patients. The Patient Relations Specialist will work closely with the Patient Relations & Engagement Manager in order to improve patient perception of care and reduce complaints to increase overall patient satisfaction within the centers.The Patient Relations Specialist is a critical part of the organization as they will help to strengthen patient retention, while championing the brand and providing support to patient experience efforts. They will also help maintain a patient-centric culture across the urgent care centers, which means that the ideal candidate for this position must have a strong eagerness to serve.ResponsibilitiesAssist with investigating and responding to patient complaints and grievances from MedRite urgent care centers and special projectsMonitor and respond to patient inquiries from multiple communication and engagement channelsRespond to reviews and conduct follow-up calls for poor reviews in order to address concerns and increase patient satisfactionCreate and maintain patient relations and engagement data via spreadsheets, audits, reports, presentations, etc.Measure and analyzing patient experience KPI’s and collaborate with management to further patient experience initiatives.Provide administrative support to Patient Relations & Engagement Manager by performing data entry tasks and assisting with preparation of presentations, SOP’s, training materials, etc.Assist with issuing refunds and reimbursementsQualificationsRequired: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1-2 years of experience working in a customer service and/or hospitality roleExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management to prioritize many tasks in a timely mannerExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google docsMust be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with a demanding time scheduleThis role is currently based out of New York, New York.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
