Position : Receiving Manager
Job Description : The Receiving Manager will be responsible for coordinating inbound shipments, facilitating the receipt of product according to company standards, managing corporate assets, developing staff, process and procedures uniformly and team with other department managers to achieve the distribution goals for the facility.Responsibilities: Establish operational processes and procedures that support the efficient and accurate receipt of inventory into the facility.Effectively plans and coordinates the daily inbound container schedule.Organize and provide proper documentation to purchasing for receipt according to corporate guidelines.Provide guidance and leadership to receiving teams to accomplish daily objectives.Participate in the evaluation, hiring and development of staff within department.Ensure associates are properly trained and kept up to date on changes relating to their areas.Other duties as needed.Qualifications: Must have 5-7 years of prior experience as a Receiving Manager.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to manage staff.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:All customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pick up available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination are required.Experience:Warehouse experience: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
