Job Description : Home Care Assistance is hiring a Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our Finance team!
This is a remote role.
The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for creation, maintenance and distribution of analysis and reporting to maximize revenue and reduce bad debts. This position will develop and own data models pertaining to client billings and payments to enable measurement and distribution of key performance indicators in the revenue cycle. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will also assist leadership in documenting and evaluating business processes, and support process changes that help achieve revenue, bad debt, and cash flow goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides analytical data support to billing, payment, and long-term insurance management teams
Generates and distributes daily, weekly, and monthly performance summary reports to management as required—analyzes the data to identify variances and trends, highlighting problem areas requiring management attention
Interacts with departmental leaders to identify and provide feedback on trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement in the revenue cycle
Partner with information technology, business intelligence and other teams to develop and/or maintain data models for client invoices and payments
Use business intelligence software (e.g., QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, etc.…) to analyze large amounts of data from various sources, to help support operations and identify revenue leakage and/or improvement opportunities
Communicate with IT/Business Intelligence teams to facilitate improved data mining/reporting tools for revenue cycle users
Coordinates with General Accounting, Financial Planning, and Information Systems to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
Measure and report on compliance with company policies pertaining to revenue cycle, including new client auto payment capture and service suspension for non-payment
Maintain analysis of accounts receivable to reasonably estimate collectability
Assists in the creation, implementation, and education of new processes and workflows
Identify revenue cycle process improvements
Assist accounts receivable and billing management with key projects

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management, with an advanced degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in related field, with or 5-6 years of experience in lieu of college degree
General knowledge of the typical revenue cycle
Extreme attention to detail
Skilled with the use of Microsoft and other business office software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, etc.
Experience with advanced business intelligence software (e.g., QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI) preferred
Basic sql skills preferred
