Position : Sexual Assault Response Coordinator
Job Description : Nature of Work: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director or her designee, this full-time position provides leadership and coordination of the development and activities of the county-specific Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) in Coconino County, AZ. A SART is a multidisciplinary interagency collaboration that unites its members in a coordinated victim-centered and trauma informed approach to providing specialized sexual assault intervention services to the community it serves. The position assists with ensuring collaboration between all agency members of the SART. The Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining relationships across the county and becoming part of local resource meetings to keep local communities informed of SART activities and training. Finally, the Coordinator is responsible for performing community education and outreach about the resources available to victims of sexual assault.Essential Duties: Coordinate effective interagency collaboration to generate a coordinated response team to meet the needs of adolescent and adult sexual violence survivors.Staff the community SART program and its activities, including scheduling, planning, and facilitating at least quarterly SART meetings.Maintain regular communication with SART members to ensure consistent participation in SART activities.Coordinate SART training.Provide leadership and facilitation in the development and implementation of SART policies and protocols.Attend required training for all local coordinators and maintain communications with other SART coordinators around the state.Collect and report data per grant requirements.Attend local resource meetings or coordinate local resource meetings, to encourage greater collaboration within smaller communities and connect them to the County-wide SART.Community Relations and Outreach: Participates in public awareness and outreach activities in Northern ArizonaParticipates in assessment and implementation task forces around the topic of crime and/or crisis as they relate to systemsAddresses community organizations and groups to explain the dynamics of crime and/or crisis and the objectives of the VWS Program and the SART.Grant Maintenance: Participates in the preparation of statistical reports and program evaluations.Program Implementation: In partnership with the leadership team will reach out to County agencies to invite membership in Coconino County’s SART.Develop a network with County stakeholders and community agenciesMarketing and Awareness BuildingJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $48,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):Can you pass a criminal background check as required for employment?Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
