Position : Spa Manager at The Beauty Method
Job Description : A Medical Spa Manager at The Beauty Method is responsible for the team members who report to you and enable the smooth function of the spa’s day-to-day operations. They must also ensure that the policies and guidelines laid down by management are implemented by all team members within the spa. They will oversee the day-to-day operation of the front desk, retail area, treatment areas and team members. Also, deal with customer grievances and complaints. They must be able to work under pressure, be flexible and multi-task to ensure smooth work flow.Accountabilities: Arrive promptly for shift well groomed and appropriate attire.Maintain professional workplace environment: Monitor what gets said in common areas and correct behavior immediately.Maintain professional boundaries with staff members.Keep employees on task.Monitor daily sales performance to keep staff on task to reach sales goals.Analyze the performance of the employees and meet weekly to keep them on track with their monthly goals.Meet monthly with spa owner to review staff goals.Acknowledge and cheerfully greet all spa guests upon their arrival and departure.Answer the front desk phone promptly.Be well versed and actively promote the treatments, packages, services, products, facility features, special programs, promotions and hours of operation.Open and/or close The Beauty Method daily as scheduled.Utilize the spa computer and register with the necessary proficiency and discretion.Handle guests’ questions, concerns and occasional complaints with courtesy and professionalism.Maintain a work area that is tidy, fully stocked and well organized.Have full knowledge of retail products, along with enthusiasm about promoting the sale.Maintain a demeanor that is positive, upbeat and professional.Conduct interviews, hiring and firing as needed with spa owner.Conduct and support training and staff meetings.Maintain compliance and documents of clinic and employee’s licenses and certifications.Create and keep organized all new employee start-up packs and order uniforms, business cards and line up training schedule.Keep Manager Log.Ability to articulate the The Beauty Method’s vision, plan, and strategy.Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year management experienceCollege degree preferredPreferred Knowledge/Qualifications:Past working experience in makeup counter, spa, or beauty salonFluency in EnglishProficient with Windows, Excel and a booking software.Must be able to perform duties in a fast paced environment.Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and delegate work appropriately and fairly.Excellent client service skills—enthusiasm, friendliness, diplomacy.Excellent communication and listeningWillingness to take on responsibility and embrace new challenges.Must be a good team player.A demeanor that is approachable and confident.Must possess basic math and money handling skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Glendale, AZ 85308: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)Retail Store Managers: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
