Job Description : Prince William Academy, a secular private school in Lake Ridge, VA, is seeking substitute teachers for our elementary and middle school programs. Classroom experience and a bachelor’s degree required.Responsibilities include:Lesson planning and delivery of core subjects: math, language arts, science, and social studiesEnsuring a safe and stimulating classroom environmentClassroom managementMay include some grading in cases of long-term subbingParticipating in staff meetingsInteraction and communication with classroom parents via ClassDojo, email, and in person on occasion.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We continue to take temperatures at the door and limit access to our building. Our teachers must be vaccinated or participate in weekly testing program. We utilize test-to-stay for cases of Covid exposure.Work Location: One location
