Job Description : The Star of Honolulu is hiring Sunset Dinner Cruise Management Trainees!The Star of Honolulu Cruises & Events, a Hawaii top 250 company, has been operating as Hawaii’s premier dinner cruise for more than 60 years. Aloha spirit and positive attitude are essential.We offer up to $1,500 in signing and retention bonus, along with competitive wage and benefits including medical, dental, drug and vision plan, 401(k) plan, paid time off, cafeteria plans, free/discounted tickets for our products.Daily operations include providing a few different dinner and entertainment packages, on a beautiful, multi-level cruise ship, with a route that showcases Waikiki’s skyline, Diamond Head, and unobstructed Hawaiian sunsets! Successful candidates will be responsible for the guest-related operations of the vessel, including dinner and drink service. We are expanding operations and looking for experienced food and beverage managers and friendly people whom want to expand their management career in a unique environment.Sunset Dinner Cruise Management Trainees will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that help keep our operation running at the highest possible level. Such as:Interviewing and Hiring new crewmembersSelf-Training to expand your knowledge and abilitiesDeveloping crew to provide the best dinner and drink service, and provide for their career growthScheduling crew and management to meet the needs of the department through every day of service, while operating within established budgetsAccurately enter and validate payrollManage the daily food service operations, and coordinate with other departments to provide memorable experiences for our guestsSuccessful candidates enjoy working on a vessel, within sight of the shore, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
