Job Description : Job Title: Technical Support SpecialistDepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: Director of ITEssential Functions Technical Support ActivitiesServe as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.Walk employees through the problem-solving processDirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnelFollow-up and update user status and informationDaily review of the IT ticketing systemHardware ordering – place orders, receive orders, distribute orders, coding of invoicesPerform iPhone / iPad Upgrades – ordering, coordination, backup and restoreIdentify and suggest possible improvements on proceduresProvide accurate information on IT products or servicesPreventive Maintenance Repetitive Maintenance Examples:Security Logs (Suspicious logins)Backup Logs (Confirm nightly backups)Windows Update LogsMobile Device Management LogsQualifications/ Required Experience: Experience in a customer support roleTech savvy with working knowledge of office technologyGood understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech productsAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issuesExcellent communication skillsCustomer-orientedAttention to detail and critical thinking skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 – $29.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
