Job Description : Position Description: The Test Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and executing non-unit testing activities for the systems and processes in the project. The Test Analyst will work with the Program Testing Lead and the project team to create a specific test approach that works within the framework of the broader program test approach. This position will be responsible for testing, documentation, and reporting of testing activities associated with the testing efforts for the project, including effective coordination and planning, test plans, scripts, schedule, and a cross-workstream view of testing status and results.The scope of the testing effort involves testing new financial workflows across 11 end-to-end process areas, more than 70 systems integrating with Workday, and the Data Analytics Warehouse Galaxy (DAWG). This scope will involve hundreds of test scenarios and scripts to validate integrated financial and supply chain workflows within Workday and the collection of systems transacting with Workday. The Test Analyst will interact with a wide variety of technical and functional staff within Medicine to build and coordinate test plans across this scope.Duties and Responsibilities: Define and maintain the overall test scenarios, cases, plan, and schedule (90%)Develop test scenarios and casesEnsure each major test event meets entrance and exit criteriaCoordinate the review, design, planning, and creation of test scripts for all phases of testing using existing scripts and design documentationOversee development of detailed Finance and Supply Chain test plans and resource requirementsTrack issues and defects impacting testing and as resolved, coordinate retest during all testing cycles and report this informationEnsure testing standards and coordinated test and defect tracking tools are utilizedRepresent the project testing activities in the overall programCoordinate and execute end-to-end test scriptsWork with the team to support Payroll Parallel testing.Assist the project team in identifying testing impacts and resulting timeline impacts of scope modifications or changes to previously completed/tested buildEnsure evidence of successful testing is recorded in the requirements traceability matrix (RTM)Project Management (10%)Maintain project schedule in SmartsheetTrack program risks and issues in JiraProvide status updates by program guidelinesRequired Skills: Minimum of five years of experience performing testing in complex software solutions.Experience with testing methodologies, testing enterprise applications, and identifying issues, resolutions, risks, and mitigationsExperience testing large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with Workday experience preferredDemonstrated experience creating and executing test scriptsStrong communication skills—both written and verbalProficiency in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint Experience working in ambiguous environments and the capability to document assumptions and continue moving forwardAbility to work across multiple workstreams, departments, and program hierarchiesAbility to work independently and with minimal supervision in a virtual environmentProficiency with virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and MS TeamsDesired Skills: Experience in a large university, large medical center, or another large complex enterprise.Familiarity with financial, accounting, and supply chain systems, particularly WorkdayJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: Up to $80.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Seattle, WA 98105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Workday: 5 years (Required)ERP: 5 years (Required)performing testing in complex software solutions: 5 years (Required)testing methodologies: 5 years (Required)testing enterprise applications: 5 years (Required)identifying issues, resolutions, risks, and mitigations: 5 years (Required)testing large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems: 5 years (Required)creating and executing test scripts: 5 years (Required)MS Office tools: 5 years (Required)Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint: 5 years (Required)document assumptions and continue moving forward: 5 years (Required)large university, medical center, or complex enterprise: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location
