We offer competitive salaries based on education and experience, health benefits, time off and paid holidays, and opportunities for career advancement.PositionUpstream Project ManagerResponsibilitiesPlan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of construction projects and oversee the organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of multiple projects.Major Functions and Scope: (include but not limited to)Determine the client requirements for the project and distill into a project charter.Plan all aspects of a project including management of Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder relations.Direct project work.Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and plan risk response.Actively manage stakeholder engagement through entire project life cycle.Monitor all aspects of project performance including Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder Engagement.Close projects by preparing all handover documentation, closing procurements, and closing prime contracts.Negotiate contract terms with clients, vendors, and suppliers.Coordinate cross functional resources required for project completion including engineering, procurement, and construction.Forecast resource requirements for projects.Provide updates to Clients and internal stakeholders to progress and risks.Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.Review performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.Develop or implement quality control programs.Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.Other duties as assignedRequirements: · College degree in relevant field 5 to 10 years of experience· Demonstrated experience directly managing capital a portfolio of projects in the upstream oil and gas industry· Leading teams· Experience with using project management systems to monitor and control project progress.Work LocationFull time Midland, Texas office and warehouse.
