Job Description : PURPOSEEnsure continuous growth of the Corwin Beverage brand which maximizes all resources of current and future customers while contributing to an environment of high expectations and accountability for all.The Warehouse Loader team provides comprehensive labor support to the warehouse while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance. This position upholds our Core Values by showing initiative in accomplishing agreed upon goals, and using feedback to grow and improve themselves and the team.RESPONSIBILITIESUsing expertise and sound judgement, proactively drive all operational objectives that make Corwin successfulFlawlessly complete all tasks assigned by supervisor to include use of an electric pallet jack to build loads, wrap pallets, use a handheld to verify accuracy of orders, and all other tasks related to warehouse loadersStrategically leverage industry best practices and assist in development of new best practicesProactively completes sanitation, cleaning and general labor in warehouse and on propertyMeticulously maintains breakage and product returnsAccurately completes paperwork with highest attention to detailDevelop and enhance effective inter-department relationships through:Conduct all business with the highest levels of integrity and ethicsDiligently communicates with team and others to exceed expectationsOngoing facilitation to achieve a win/win resolution for Corwin and customersMaintain and/or operate company equipment and vehicles in the safest mannerExceptional development of self and others through:Understand and uphold Corwin Core ValuesDemonstrate the ability to problem solve independently as well as part of a teamContinuously develop self and peers with all activities associated within role, including observation, training, and task optimizationProvide ongoing candid one-to-one feedback to promote and improve individual performanceProactively work to assist maintain entrepreneurial spirit in all day-to-day activities and functionsProactively work to assist others in achieving Corwin’s objectivesQualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school diploma or equivalentTraining Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Valid driver’s license & clean 3 yr. driving recordForklift and electric pallet jack certified (or ability to obtain)Experience: Previous grocery, warehouse or order picking/receiving experience preferredCOMPENSATIONWarehouse Loader hourly break in rate ($18.96 – $22.31) and pension rateUnion benefits package for eligible employeesOTHER INFORMATIONSpecial Information (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, and so on):Qualified candidates must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and lift 50 pounds constantly during an 8-hour shift; must be able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours per dayFull time shift hours are from 4:00PM to 12:30AM, Monday through Friday. The shift is complete when all assigned work is finished for the evening.Over time work may be required after hours, on weekends and holidaysMember in good standing with the Teamsters Local 58This document describes the position currently available.
