Position : WFH: HOME HEALTH Prior Authorization Specialist
Job Description : WORK FROM HOME POSITION. Will start pay at $20/hour WITH WELLSKY and HOME HEALTH PA Experience. (This position will eventually move to in-office)Requirements, including but not limited to: § Must report to work Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.§ Verifies patient benefits and eligibility – communicates with patient their insurance coverage§ Request for initial and continuing care for patients§ Keeps track of all pending/obtains authorizations lists§ Turns in daily reports to supervisor§ Performs weekly audits of alphabet§ Obtains patient payment plan for any patients who have not satisfied their OOP/Deductibles§ Communicates with insurances efficiently/effectively of patient care in order to receive authorization for all visits.§ Works closely with billing and intake to ensure patients get best care possiblePosition Qualifications: Minimum Experience and Education:-High School Diploma-1 year of Healthcare ExperiencePreferred Experience and Education: Handling of Insurance Companies DirectlyHome Health ExperienceWellSky KnowledgeJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeApplication Question(s):Are you willing to work over-time to ensure that all prior authorization is obtained timely?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Prior Authorizations: 1 year (Preferred)Wellsky/Kinnser: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
