Job Description : Job DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for assisting with most of the processes within accounts payable under the direct supervision of the accounts payable lead. They will assist in check processing, statement reconciliations, payroll processing, vendor record maintenance and other AP functions as needed.Essential Duties· Assist in monitoring the AP email and routing information as needed· Processing invoices and pay applications for approval and payment· Assist in weekly check runs and lien waiver issuance· Assist with Visa management· Monthly statement reconciliation· EFT transaction recording· Check depositsCompetencies· Ability to organize files and effectively retrieve data.· Excellent verbal skills needed to communicate with customers, answers questions and payment inquiries in a professional manner.· Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.· Ability to apply reconciliation techniques using standard accounting methods and principles.· Ability to perform data entry.· Basic Excel and Word SkillsEducation and Experience· High School Diploma Required· Accounts Payable 1-3 years’ experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
