Your Impact
Delish is looking for a highly motivated and creative assistant social media editor to help manage our presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is well versed in both new and existing social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tik Tok, and Clubhouse. He/She/They should have a strong interest in both food and social media, and have a finger on the pulse of what is trending at all times. If the thought of creating the next viral recipe video on Tik Tok or getting people hyped about the newest fast food fried chicken sandwich excites you, you’re the kind of person we’re looking for. Strong attention to detail, ability to embody the Delish voice in all that you write/edit/film/post/etc, and a can-do attitude are must-haves.
We’re looking for someone who can bring innovative ideas to the table regarding new ways for Delish to engage with our audience. The Assistant Social Media Editor will work directly with the Senior Social Media Editor to promote Delish content across all social media platforms.
What you’ll do:
Manage daily posts on Facebook and Pinterest
Manage community engagment on Instagram and Tik Tok
Assist with daily newsletter and Apple News
Regularly update and contribute to the social team’s planning calendar
Write Instagram captions and post Instagram stories
Pitch and produce Tik Tok/Instagram Reels videos
Who you are:
You have experience in social media and editorial content strategy
You are well versed in Facebook insights, social media management tools, and analytics tools
You have solid judgment as to what works to drive audience and engagement in digital media
You have the ability to write in a variety of tones and imagine content for various platforms
You have familiarity with and interest in food, restaurant, and relevant pop culture news
You have a Bachelor’s or comparable degree
Experience with the following programs is preferred but not required: SocialFlow , Dash Hudson , Facebook Creator Studio , SailThru , Google Analytics , CrowdTangle, and Photoshop
Degree Level : Bachelor’s Degree
