Job Description : Café Employee Zak The Baker is a local, artisanal bakery and Café. At 295 NW 26 St in Wynwood, everything is made on site, from scratch. We are now hiring a Café Employee.The successful candidate will join a motivated team of competent individuals committed to offering high quality products to our many and diverse customers. We are looking for a Café Employee that will bring enthusiasm and professionalism to further propel our collective success.General Responsibilities: The Café Employee is responsible for assisting customers, preparing beverages, serving guests by preparing and remitting their orders, working the register to close out customers when the Café is open to customers, and maintaining the workspace.The Café Employee is responsible for restocking breads, pastry, packaging, and beverages ingredients, according to the defined protocols, bringing foods to the tables, bus and clean tables, and for cleaning of the café, including its bathroom.The Café Employee works in a high turnover and fast paced work environment when the Café is open, or focuses on pickup orders when the Café area is not open to customers. Both require constant attention to detail, cleanliness, in order to provide the customers the best experience they can.*The Main and Essential Functions of the position require: Starting early morning , as early as 6am,Finishing as late as 7 pm,Standing up for long hours, walking, bending, during the full duration of the shift up to 10 hours or more.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Ability to climb on a ladder.Availability to work on Fridays and Sundays is mandatory.compensation: Approx $20 per hour including tipsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityWork Location: One location
