Come join us if you like to tackle big problems and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.The Role: The Credit Dispute Specialist is part of the Business Programs Department which focuses on new and ongoing strategic initiatives to support the success of the Phoenix Service Center as a whole. This role is responsible for the processing of credit disputes and ensuring compliance with the CRRG, FCRA, and business SLAs . The ideal candidate brings a positive mindset to our team environment and embodies the pillars of the Phoenix Service Center (Supporting scalable and efficient growth, providing caring customer experiences, operating with integrity, and building flexible talent and engaged teams).What You’ll Do: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the processing of credit disputes received through E- OscarComplete daily credit resolution tasks, and debt verificationsManage the processing of credit disputes and corrections according to regulatory and business SLAsInvestigate internal escalations for credit reporting correctionsSupport the Credit Reporting Analyst on work related to the full credit reporting and dispute processProactive in identifying areas of opportunity within operational processes and offers ideas and suggestions for improvementAssist with other duties, as requiredWhat You Have: Knowledge of e-Oscar and related consumer dispute processes requiredAbility to interpret payment history records, experience with Shaw Systems Spectrum preferredBasic knowledge of consumer lending to ensure credit reporting is in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Credit Reporting Resource Guide (CRRG)Excellent time management and work prioritization skillsAttention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment with ease and with minimal supervisionBring a flexible mindset and positive attitude– as a start-up, we are growing quickly and you may need to adapt to changing policies and procedures while maintaining high-quality work outputStrong verbal and written communication skillsThis is an in-person role at our Downtown Phoenix location, with no remote option available.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
