Position : Desk Adjuster – Direct Hire
Job Description : The Desk Adjuster is responsible for supporting insurance claims activity and to assist in the resolution of all types of claim related inquiries.Responsibilities: Adhere to all Inspection Depot and their clients guidelines including but not limited to the following:Maintain client required work conduct.Provide quality customer service to all assigned claims, guide claimants throughout the claims process to ensure timely contact with the insured Policy Review.Maintain consistent File Management practices, including documenting/logging all calls and emails, report any escalated calls to management.Phone Calls / Correspondence with Insured or Representation within required timelines.Full coverage review of all files to provide recommendation of coverage to the carrierAdhere to all Best Claims Practices file required timelines / Technical Estimating guidelines for review of submitted estimates from the fieldLetter Writing, the ideal candidate has experience with drafting and modifying various letters based on client provided templates.Process payments, letters, and other activities through client Claims Management SystemPrompt closure of claim assignmentsPerform related responsibilities as required or assignedRequired Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of property claims practices.Basic knowledge of construction and repair techniques, including identification of materials and damage recognition.Knowledge and understanding of the Xactimate SkillsExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent time management skills and must be detail oriented.Must have proficient computer skills to function in house software system, Xactimate, Microsoft Office Products and Client and Internal Claims Management Systems.Experience: Two+ of experience in the Insurance industry preferably in the area of property claims handling.Experience handling disputed claims.Education Required: Prefer College degree from an accredited University or technical school or two years of hands-on experience in the insurance and claims service industry.FL Adjusters All Lines/Property and Casualty LicenseCertificationsMaintain training and certifications necessary and/or required by the various clients.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Insurance Claims Adjusters & Examiners: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Adjuster’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
