We believe we’re better together and invite you to join the HLC family!THE POSITION: Direct Care TechAs a value member of the medical team, you’ll help to maximize patient outcomes through your excellent care for our patients. This role is responsible for:Following program operation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with AHCA, DCF, and CARF as well as Honey Lake Clinic standards and procedures.Providing supervision and transportation as needed to patients in all program areas.Contacting nursing or clinical staff as directed and notifying them of potential problems.Obtaining vitals per schedule or as needed.Maintaining Patient Safety “Q” checks.Preventing and intervening in potential incidents.Work Hours: Medical team works a rotating schedule; Day & Night Shift positions availablePosition Type: Full-time and Part-time positions availablePay: Starting at $12/hour, subject to experience and educationBenefits: Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurancePaid Time Off: Full-time employees are eligible for vacation and sick timeLocation: Greenville, FL (approximately 45- to 50-minute commute from Tallahassee, FL and Valdosta, GA)REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED1 year experience working in medical, psychiatric, nursing, or child care setting.
