Position : Electrical Assembly Technician
Job Description : Assembly Technician capable of assignments with little or no supervision or guidance. Responsible for project management of system builds. Will aid and perform the assembly, diagnostic, and verification of Curve Trace systems and other products. Requires at least 3rd year college EE program or equivalent experience. Full time.Required knowledge & responsibilitiesKnowledge of circuit boards, schematics, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services within the assembly department.Knowledge of various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, and multimeters.Hands-on experience using common hand tools such as pliers, cutters, strippers, crimpers, and screw drivers.Knowledge of ESD standards.Attention to detail, committed to quality.Tests or inspects assembled units; capable of switching stations in a work cell and is expected to have mastery of all steps in an assembly process.Troubleshooting and inspecting parts for defects.De-soldering, soldering, and reworking of system components.Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Morgan Hill, CA 95037: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Associate (Required)Experience:Instrumentation & Control Technicians: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
