Job Description : ***Please note that this is NOT a call center position. This is for a GRAVE shift position.***Seeking a full-time Dispatch Operator to serve in our security operations. We are a busy, full-service security provider operating in numerous areas throughout the State of Colorado and the surrounding areas.The Dispatch Operator is the heart of our operations, and the successful candidate should have at the minimum, the following attributes, skills and abilities:Be able to communicate clearly and calmlyBe able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, while maintaining a high level of customer service to the callerBe able to type at least 50 wpmBe familiar with radio operations (2-way), specifically in a dispatch center settingBe familiar with computer systems (C.A.D. or similar systems preferred)Be able to quickly multi-task, adapt and react to changing situationsBe able to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel in the field, other agencies and individuals calling inShifts currently being filled are for 3 days on / 4 days off (6 pm – 6 am Grave Shift). Weekends and/or holidays are required to be worked, as we are a 24-hour operation. Successful candidates will be expected to handle many duties at a time, and often in a hectic and quickly-moving environment. Candidates with previous experience in a 911 or Emergency Call Center setting are highly preferred.
