As the largest community-based animal welfare organization in the region, we care for more than 20,000 homeless pets and horses each year at our four facilities and are a national model in animal welfare. If you work well with people too, join our team and help us provide that voice.*Purpose of Position: * Provide administrative support to the League’s president, executive team, and board of directors.*Responsibilities*Maintain president’s current and archive records.Coordinate president’s schedule including meeting organization, agenda development, material creation, taking minutes, ordering of food, and other related tasks.Provide administrative support for League Board of Directors and the executive staff – includes preparing meeting agenda, gathering data and creating documents, developing presentations, taking minutes, and maintain official board records and files.Communicate with and provide information to board members as needed.Prepare correspondence on behalf of president.Complete expense reports, check requests, and credit card reconciliation for the president and for board expenses.Take phone calls and review incoming correspondence to provide resolution to constituent questions and issues.Maintain records, compile departmental reports, and create presentations that document the progress toward League strategic goals and objectives.Coordinate travel arrangements.Coordinate special projects and any other administrative tasks as directed by president.People CarePeople are the key to fulfilling our mission.
