As one of the 21 nonprofit Regional Centers throughout California, we offer a comprehensive program supporting the needs of our communities, provided by driven and passionate employees who ensure that we achieve our goals daily.Who We ServeNorth Bay Regional Center provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties.We partner with community-based organizations and agencies to empower our clients to thrive and live as independently as possible within the geographically, culturally, and ethnically diverse communities we serve.NATURE OF WORK:Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant – Compliance Specialist is a confidential position that provides a wide range of executive-level administrative and compliance duties for the Executive Team and Board of Directors; tracks and manages agency compliance requirements, supports Executive Team and other agency staff members with completion of compliance tasks, communicates with the Department of Developmental Services regarding compliance projects and timelines, supports agency with preparation for and completion of audits, creates and edits documents using a computer and appropriate software; responsible for confidential correspondence; answers phones, provides appropriate information to the public or refers them to proper individual; determines priorities for various assigned projects; provides support to other management staff and administrative staff; other duties as required.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and four years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, two years as an assistant to the head of a large department, unit or organization or as an assistant for a complex technical function or profession, is preferred.Minimum qualifications may be waived depending on the agency’s need for specialized skills (such as language abilities). This position will be primarily based in the office; however remote work may also be available.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: A valid driver’s license and minimum legal automobile insurance are required and the ability to provide personal automobile transportation during working hours and for after-hours emergencies or access to another form of reliable transportation which meets these minimum requirements.Under a mandate issued by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) on September 28, 2021, all Regional Center Employees must be fully vaccinated by November 30, 2021, or be approved for a medical or religious exemption by NBRC.
