Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool. The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishmentsManage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standardsInspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovationsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsControl activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.Allocate office space according to needsLead projects by developing scope of work, sourcing and vetting contractors, soliciting bids, and scheduling workProvide supervision and oversight for all facilities/construction related projects including inspection and holding contractors to timeline and quality workLeads New Restaurant builds, remodels, and expansions maintaining timelines, permitting, and communicationWorks with restaurant managers on maintaining all FOH and BOH equipment to ensure optimal performance and a great guest experienceConduct regular restaurant audits (a minimum of 1 per quarter) making recommendations for needed repairs and working with the Team by training how to effect minor repairs to help reduce repair costs · Willingness and ability to do minor repairs for plumbing, electrical, facilities, etcDevelop project list based on feedback and audits aligned with Leadership prioritiesProvide expertise and consultation to Ops team on equipment replacement, repairs, and preventative maintenanceBrings new and fresh ideas to the table on improved performance and improved profitabilityHandle insurance plans and service contractsKeep financial and non-financial recordsPerform analysis and forecastingSkillsProven experience as facilities manager or relevant positionWell-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesKnowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinkingBSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant fieldRelevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantageJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offSchedule:10 hour shiftHolidaysOn callWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Facilities Maintenance Managers: 1 year (Preferred)Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
