Position : Forklift Operator- Night Shift ($2.00 differential)
Job Description : As a Trex Forklift Operator, you will be handling and transporting large bundles of composite decking from the post-production quality hold areas to the finished goods yard or to a secondary testing location.
DUTIES
Ensures compliance with all safety rules, company policies, and government regulations.
Helps maintain a work environment that exceeds all applicable standards including a clean and organized area.
Operates a large forklift rated to haul 17,000 pounds.
Acts as a liaison between the quality department and logistics to insure only accepted bundles are scanned and hauled to the finished goods yard.
Handles and transports large bundles of composite decking from the post-production quality hold areas to the finished. goods yard or to a secondary testing location.
Pulls and repackages bundles and sleds international orders.
Assists team leader with daily cycle counts.
Loads flatbed trailers, as needed by the operation.
EXPERIENCE
Barcode scanning experience, along with 2-5 years in logistics is preferred. If you’ve worked as a finished goods loader or logistics assistant, you’re Trex material for sure.
Have experience working in a factory or warehouse? You’ll fit in just fine.
