Please do not apply if C2C ***< ---CEI is hiring an energetic Full Stack JavaScript Developer (leaning more back end vs front) who isn't afraid to jump in and contribute to multiple legacy or "old school" environments! *CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL OR WILLING TO TRAVEL TO AURORA, CO (without assistance) FOR BACKGROUND CHECK! Working 100% remotely after the required onsite background check!*Targeting engineers with 3-7 years' experience programming in Node.js. This position is perfect for professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, "rolling with the punches," and working with APIs (preferably in JavaScript)!***This is a long-term W2 Hourly Contract with pay ranging at $60 - $65/hr + benefits***Job Description: Contribute to the hands-on development process using Node.js to contribute to various Accela processes.Perform additional duties within multiple legacy or "old school" environments as assigned with the ability to roll with the punches as things change quickly.Provide break-fix support, development and interfaces design and support, (expect lots of troubleshooting).Partner with other team members to analyze needs and implement user requirements and additional features.Ensure city development standards and processes are maintained.Attend a high-volume of team meetings (Scrum, Project Schedule, etc), tracks progress, meets project deadlines and quality assurance.Monitor and resolve incoming help-desk tickets.Skills: APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL to the Denver-Metro, or willing to travel without assistance for a 1-time onsite background check.
