Position : Golf Player Service Staff – $17.00 per hour

Job Description : If you like the game of Golf this might be the perfect job for you! This position requires excellence in customer service to our Forest Highlands Golf Club members and guests. We are relying on you to fulfill customer needs in variety of responsibilities which can include anything golf related.
Some of the tasks expected are:
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service leaving members with a truly memorable experience.
Responsible for following opening and closing of the cart and staging operations.
Maintain Golf staging area, practice range and practice area set-up to ensure that these areas are welcoming and ready for our members and their guests.
Greet and load golf bags onto cart and drop off member with their golf bag at the staging area prior to their round of golf.
Upon member completion of golf, takes golf cart, removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink bottles/cans, etc (saving and cleaning reusable items). Cleans and sanitizes golf cart for next member to utilize, places golf cart in appropriate staging area for next member.
Dispense range balls to members and guests and ensure the driving range is kept clean and organized.
Collecting and cleaning of all range balls used for practice range utilizing the range picker and hand equipment according to policies and procedures
Maintains order and continuity of player traffic
Assist with Tournament preparation and set-up as it pertains to the Outside Service staff.
Assists in safeguarding that rules and regulations are being followed in order to prevent safety issues and inconveniences to other members.
Handling minor problems and complaints while escalating to appropriate management any major problems/complaints.
Informs customers of any unusual conditions on the course.
Monitors supplies and completes a re-order form when needed.
Adhere to the Golf Club’s vehicle handling and safety policies while operating golf carts.
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
To be considered for this position you will need to meet our minimum requirements:Valid Driver License with clean Motor Vehicle Record.Basic knowledge of golf courses and country club operations.Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.Must be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during busy times while working flexible hours with an enthusiastic personality.Must be reliableAbility to work outside in varied weather conditions including low temperatures.Be able to lift up to 25lbs regularly.
