Leads and/or assists others in conducting investigations to determine the cause of defects. Monitors and is responsible for quality output and takes appropriate actions to insure production is right the first time. Validates and ensures quality control measures are accurate and in conformance with process flow. Conducts quality audits and monitors process batch analytical data for accuracy. Ensuring that personal protective equipment is provided and used. Enforce safety rules and take prompt corrective action when unsafe acts or conditions are identified Conduct routine safety audits and complete required safety forms Collaborates with other departments as necessary to ensure efficient- safe- and sanitary conditions of facility are maintained. Assigns personnel- maximizes operational uptime- and manages use of processing and packaging machinery and equipment. Understands process flow of processing and packaging operations- and recommends improvements when necessary Demonstrate the ability to operate packaging or processing equipment as necessary when demands are needed. Leads projects in efforts of continuous improvement. Manages and generates daily crewing for optimum performance- included but not limited to daily crewing- hours- and overtime avoidance. Operates equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keeps work area clean Additional responsibilities of this position include assisting in the creation of a culture of safety and health by performing work safely in accordance with all company safety procedures.
