Position requires completion of documents for custom clearance and updating documents in our ERP System. Works closely with carriers, customs, customers, and management to maintain the high standards established by USNR.Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Coordinate with domestic and international carriers for all shipments leaving USNR· Create Export documents for International shipments· Prepare BOL’s for all LTL and Truckload shipments· Secure necessary documentation when incomplete information is provided· Interface with Sales, Purchasing and customers to improve communication and timely delivery of machines and parts to customers worldwide· Develop and maintain import/export records for custom compliance· Trace key transaction information (HBL, commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin (COO) and other required documents· Inform management of problems and irregularities· Serve as single point of contact between part sales, customers, and service providers for timely clearance of shipments· Provide freight quotes as requested· Assist other sites with import and export related issues· Ensure timely shipping of parts to meet or exceed established lead times· Perform other duties as assignedJob Qualifications: · 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations in a manufacturing environment· Must have experience working with international sales orders, creating export documents and Import documents for international shipping and/or receiving.· Knowledge and experience of working with INCOTERMS 2020· Experience working with or at a Custom’s Broker or Freight Forwarder is required· Experience using an ERP system required, Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge a plus· Domestic transportation knowledge· Related course work and certifications in customs compliance and logistics preferred· Strong organization and communications skills required· Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook· Ability to work well with time constraints and deadlines· Strong commitment to work in a dynamic environment promoting teamwork· High School Diploma or GED required*Pre-Employment Drug Screening** Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by USNR.
