Position : Medical Biller
Job Description : Candidate’s responsibility will be to work directly with insurance companies andpatients to get claims processed and paid; review and appeal unpaid and deniedclaims. In addition, they will research and follow up with billing discrepancies,answer patient billing questions, and review patient bills for accuracy andcompleteness. Must also have good experience with the collection process.Drivers License required to conduct company business.Minimum 1-3 years of medical claims and/or billing experience preferredKnowledge of insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, third-party payers,etc.) * Strong understanding of A/R follow-up processProblem solver who can identify issues and put solutions into actionEnsure results through follow upExcellent communication skills and strong typing skillsECW (E-Clinical Works) knowledge preferred as well as various billing software programsSoftware proficiency in Word and ExcelPay is competitive and depends on experience.
