Job Description : Medical ReceptionistResponsibilities:Directs, escorts, and transports (via wheelchair) patients, visitors, and other customers to appropriate locations within the Medical Center, such as patient rooms, testing areas, registration areas, clinics or other hospital departments, physician offices, waiting/lobby areas, cafeteria, etc.Responds to customer requests for information. Provides information regarding patient location, directions to the Medical Center, parking, visiting hours, places to stay, hospital visitation policies, Patient Rights and Responsibilities, and various patient/visitor services of the medical center.Provides written patient information resources such as maps, patient brochures, or other appropriate information.Arranges for equipment and/or escorts as needed by patients or other customers. Locates and maintains the availability of wheelchairs in the lobby areas; escorts patients or directs volunteer staff to escort patients and other customers to locations as needed.Assist patients, visitors, and other customers to appropriate locations outside of the Medical Center, including assisting with a taxicab, wheelchair vehicles, shuttle services, and other transportation needs.Requirements:High School Degree or equivalent1+ years experience in Healthcare a MUSTReliable, excellent customer service skills, patient and trustworthyRPS1Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):Do you have your COVID vaccination?Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
