Job Description : Our growing Endodontic specialty practice is looking for a positive team player to join our dynamic team as a office assistant and patient relations specialist. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentists’ shoulders. Candidates should be well-organized with great attention to detail.We do Endodontics differently, using modern technology and techniques which minimize aerosols and maximize everyone’s safety, as well as optimizing the outcome for the patient.Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, and enjoys providing a great experience for patients and works well in a group setting. The available position is full time with a 4 day work week. We are open 5 days/week from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers in the dental office and ensure paperwork is completedSchedule appointmentsDiscuss treatment plans with patientsManage insurance claimsProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsHandle all aspects of patient relations to ensure a positive experienceEnsure reports are provided to general dentistsSkillsTeam player and positive personalityAbility to learn quickly and adapt readilyGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethicCustomer service and people skills a MUST!Experience in dentistry helpful, but not necessaryAttention to detailWell-organized and reliableHigh school diploma; college degree preferredAdditional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)Job Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:10 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All clients and staff are required to wear a mask and to show proof of vaccination.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
