Job Description : As a kp employee, will be eligible for a Retention Bonus of $3,000. Payout is 90-day $500.00, 180-day $1,000.00, and 365-day$1,500.00.kp is a leading global manufacturer of rigid and flexible packaging and special films. Founded in 1965, we now have 32 factories in 18 countries and employ more than 5,900 people worldwide.Summary: Completes predetermined packing functions to wrap and protect the finished product for shipment by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Visually inspects products for defects prior to packing, confirming all product tags are accurate.Mostly performs hand wrapping duties, such as crowning, edge boards and banding. Prepares material to be wrapped per customer specifications.Operates other equipment in the department such as hand bands, air bands, band saws, staple guns, staple machines, nail guns, hand lifts, etc.May do custom packing including box assembly, sheet packaging, etc. May package various items for mailing.Maintains proper safety and housekeeping practices at all times.May be temporarily assigned to other departments.Supervisory Responsibilities: N/AQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic PC and keyboarding function.
