Patients in our community and beyond can experience better outcomes, significantly improved access to care, a refined, patient-centric approach and advanced state-of-the-art programs.If you are interested in joining an exciting venture in cardiovascular medicine, please submit your resume for consideration.NO PHONE CALLS PLEASEThis position will have a home base of Puyallup, but is intended to be a float position requiring travel to other locations (Tacoma, Auburn, Gig Harbor, Olympia) as needed.Summary:Makes and schedules patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Checks out patients after appointmentSchedules testing to be performed at PHI/CSC.Schedules or reschedule appointments for patients as needed.Attaches all electronic Epic referrals to appointments at PHI/CSC.Schedules all referrals that are sent to PHI/CSC.Call on and schedule referrals from the referral queue.Notifies Patient Re if referral is needed for patient’s appointment due to insurance change, walk-in, etc.Arranges for interpreting services as needed per protocol.Travel to any of the various Cardiac Study Center locations (Auburn, Gig Harbor, Olympia, Puyallup, and Tacoma).Other duties as assigned.We offer a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package.A criminal background check will be performed upon acceptance of offer of employment.Education/Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months work related experience or training required which includes: knowledge of medical office procedures.Certificates and Licenses: No certification or licenses required.Language Skills: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and emails; Write simple correspondence; Effectively present information in one-on-one situation and small group situations to customers, and other employees.Math Skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio and percents.Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to identify problems and escalate them.Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described below represent the activities and surroundings of the positions.
