The City of Fremont Police Department is hiring for the regular and full-time position of Police Communications Dispatcher.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently not offering the POST Dispatcher Test at Fremont City Hall; when you reach the written step of the process you will be given instructions to complete the POST Dispatcher exam off-site.
To be considered for this career opportunity, submit an online application, and typing certificate that meets the following requirements:
Typing Certificate with 45 or more net wpm. Certifications must be dated within 12 months and from a professional; online and/or self-administered certifications will be rejected. Certifications can be obtained at places such as temporary employment staffing agencies, community colleges, or the Fremont Adult School.
