Job Description : The F/V Katie Ann fishes for YELLOW FIN SOLE, ROCK SOLE, COD and some Pollock. They process whole round and head & gut products only.
The work is extremely strenuous and sometimes hazardous. The vessel operates under all types of weather conditions and the factory is cold, wet and loud. It is REQUIRED that you are able to work in -35 degree temperatures with proper safety gear provided by the company.
The ideal candidate will be versatile and able to work in multiple factory positions. They will also be able to quickly learn the various species of fish.
Mental strength, focus, positive attitude, common sense and determination are qualities that one needs to possess in order to be successful.
Seafood processors work aboard the Katie Ann, our at-sea processing vessel in the waters of the Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and the Aleutian Islands to convert raw fish products into a high quality product ready for sale.
